The Insect Habitat

Members of the Bank Youth Project working alongside Brian Lewis the chairman of the Guild of St Lawrence to build an insect habitat within the grounds of St Andrews Church Hall. The young people collected hundreds of old flooring blocks stored within St Andrews Church and carried them to the Hall site whereupon guided by Brian, they assembled them into a well built insect habitat. The young people can visit the site and record and study some of the wildlife that will eventually move into the habitat. A very good example of young people from all walks of life and ages getting together to help and learn within their local community.
