BYP is recruiting adult session volunteers. If you care about empowering and supporting young people, BYP offers experience as part of a supportive team in a relaxed, lively and creative space. Contact us or stop by one of our sessions to find out more.
Several of our past volunteers have gone on to work at BYP as Youth Support Workers. For others it has just been fun to try something different in the evenings. Session volunteers are supported by our regular team of youth support workers and a rota of senior helpers (some pictured here) chosen from among the more senior BYP members.
Other types of volunteering include serving on BYP’s Management Group, helping with fundraising grant proposals or activities, or offering skills to help keep our building and equipment running smoothly. Help with short-term or one-off activities can be great too. Activities are planned by the members and youth work team and vary according to people’s interests and experience.
