BYP owns and maintains a former bank building with facilities including: pool table, table tennis and air hockey, computer suite, projection, PS4 and XBox, kitchen, café selling packaged snacks and drinks, music system …
The National Lottery Community Fund
Activities at the Bank Youth Project have been made possible over the last five years because of the funding received from a grant (2019-2024) from the National Lottery Community Fund, which distributes over £600m a year to communities across the UK. All Community Funds are raised by players of the National Lottery.

The Bank Youth Project warmly welcomes the Ashburton Cafe@BYP in a new collaboration. So now you may see a Cafe by day, while we remain, above all, a space for young people in the evenings. Jason and Lisa Gee, who formerly ran the Bay Horse in Ashburton, are leasing our space to offer a varied and great value menu for breakfast, lunch, drinks, cakes and snacks from 8.30am to 2.30pm Monday to Saturday.
